So I feel like 50 episodes is something that I should celebrate, right. It's a nice round number. And it's been a lot of fun doing this podcast. And we've definitely had our ups and downs we've had our stronger episodes and our not so strong episodes. And it's been a learning process. And I'm thankful that you all have been next to me and listening along the way. I really do appreciate you. And so I wanted to just take a minute to encourage us all to celebrate our wins, big and small. I think at times we tend to get bogged down and growing our businesses and building our businesses that we don't think about just the little things that add up to big things to get us to where we are today and 50 episodes is no easy feat. Yeah, we took a couple weeks off here and there. We maybe missed an episode here and there. But I'm telling you, we have been showing up consistently and it has been awesome. And so this podcast is a big win. For me. It's something I wanted to do for a long time. And I'm very proud of myself for sticking with it and keeping things going across. And the last I mean, I can't even remember when Hold on. Let me look it up. When our first episode went live, it was May 7 2019. So we've been doing this for some time, and it's super fun. So we'll celebrate again, we hit the one year anniversary. But I just am curious about how you think about your wins and how you celebrate them. So I have a practice that I try to do and I'm better at it some days than most I'm not gonna pretend like I have the perfect morning routine. It's a work in progress, but I have a gratitude journal and I do like to start my morning by really putting down on paper the five things that I'm thankful for from the day before little things, big things sometimes snuggles with the kids. Sometimes it's a contract that I landed. Sometimes it's just as simple as I got dinner on the table, but whatever it is, I do like to remind myself These are some things that I'm thankful for. These are some things that I'm grateful for from the day before just puts me in a positive place to start the day. And then you've heard me talk about this before I do something that I learned from Rachel Hollis, which is writing down kind of my 10 crazy things. Like if, if I was the most successful person that I wanted to be, what would it like? What would some of these things look like? And and you write them out as if they've already happened. And I want to really emphasize that these should be things that matter to you. Not things that you think success looks like for other people because we all have different goals. Some of us want to be multimillionaires, some of us just want to be able to pay the mortgage. And that's all we're trying to do with our business because we just want to help people sometimes it's, you know, group coaching or one on one stuff or building this amazing physical part, whatever it is, like your path is your path, and you need to run down that path. And so I write down my 10 things as if they've already happened. And what that does is I guess, and I'm no expert in this from a psychological standpoint, or from a from a brain standpoint, helps your brain really figure out how to execute to get to that goal. But for me, it also is a thing where it's like, I now know when I hit this thing.
I have a big thing to celebrate because a lot of times we hit goals in our business and then we're just reaching for the next one and reaching for the next one. And we don't take time to pause to say, this was a milestone I said I was going to reach and I did it. I did the dang thing I made At work, and I am so proud of myself, I'm going to celebrate. So that's one way that I do that. And you know, there are a combination of professional and personal goals because you know, for me, they're very much one in the same. Another thing that I do is try to make monthly and quarterly goals that I can track and you know, give myself a reward if I complete them. And not that I'm completing them for the reward necessarily, but just to be like, honoring, I did this I completed this goal, I made this happen. And it might not be the big picture goal for my business, but it's something that I know is going to get me to that point. And again, these are professional and business goals, date nights with my husband having that be a priority. And you know, working out drinking water, those things are often in those monthly and quarterly goal things just to keep me motivated and understanding that if I don't take care of myself, I can't do well in my business. And so that's just kind of what I wanted to talk to you about today and say, you know, thank you for being with me through all 50 episodes of the digital marketing therapy podcast. We're not going anywhere. And we're still going to be here talking to you about all things websites, digital marketing and bringing amazing experts for you to learn from as well. So with that, I hope you're having an amazing Friday and enjoy this best Black Friday episode.
