Ep 11 | What My Days Look Like
Do you really want to hear about my daily routine? There are so many ways to go about it and I have learned so much from various people and wanted to share my routine with you.
Getting your business to the level you want it to be takes time and energy.
I'm working on getting to hiring staff, but it's not easy.
I'm not perfect. What I'm sharing with you today isn't always what happens every day. This is a goal for me and what I work towards every day.
I typically wake up between 5-5:30 each morning. I'm a morning person and always have been.
My morning starts with a big glass of Emergen-C. It helps me get going and wake up.
I'm not a coffee drinker but I may have a glass of tea.
Then it's up to my home office for a bit of yoga. Doing a little bit of yoga is great to get my body moving. I'm not a yogi by any means, but since I'm at a desk all day, starting the day with stretching is super helpful.
Then it's time to get into my gratitude/business goals journal.
I love inbox zero! So my next step is getting through emails and assigning tasks to the team (including myself).
Using Multi-Inbox with Google helps me stay organized.
A paper planner and a Google calendar help me keep my business meetings separate from the tasks I want to get done that day.
What are the big 3 things that are going to move my business forward!
I like to try and take Tuesday's “off” from client work and spend that time working ON my business.
There are also seasons where I have things going on outside of my control – like course launches.
My kids get out of school early on Thursday so I try and take those days to be with them.
Right now I'm working weekends as we're in a big period of growth. This won't last forever and communication with my family helps to set time aside with them as well as what needs to be happening.
On Sundays, in general, I like to set aside about 30 minutes to pull out my paper planner and set expectations for the week ahead.
