February 16-17

Your website can be a powerful fundraising tool if set up correctly to align with your goals. During this workshop you'll evaluate your website and determine if you're talking to the right people, showcasing the right information and get best practices for a better converting donation page.

Sessions will cover

  • ways to ensure your website communicates the most important things visitors need to know to take the action YOU want them to take.
  • best practices for your donation page.
  • how to create a homepage that converts.
  • utilizing calls-to-action on your website and best practices for updates.

You'll walk away with changes and updates for you or the person that manages your website to make. Even if you don't manage your organizations' website, you know as a fundraiser what tools would be helpful in supporting your work in 1:1 conversations with individuals, corporate sponsors and granting agencies.

Build a Content Plan for Better Execution and More Engagement

June 15 – 16

Content is critical for building trust with the community you serve as well as current and potential donors. During this workshop you'll learn content best practices as well as create a plan that you can execute. We'll support you in building out your own unique content strategy, coming up with ideas for what to create and a plan for execution.

Sessions will cover

  • types of content and best practices for creating it.
  • researching content ideas that will resonate with your audience.
  • how to use content for your fundraising efforts and lead generation.
  • set up your schedule, repurposing and creating consistency

You'll walk away with a comprehensive content plan for posting and promoting. This is perfect for people that are just getting started with creating content and those that want to get more out of the content they're creating.

Email Marketing Strategies that Work

August 24 – 25

Email marketing is the single best digital marketing strategy you can implement. There is nothing else that has the ROI that email marketing does. There are several different strategies to implement from nurturing to making asks to promotion.

Sessions will cover

  • how to build an effective email marketing strategy.
  • what to put in your emails.
  • crafting your communication plan.
  • setting up your systems for sending the right message to the right person at the right time.

You'll walk away with an email marketing strategy that makes sense for your organization to help you reach your goals.

Getting Organized and Building a 2024 Plan

December 21 – 22

Yes the year is winding down. And you might be busy with your year end campaign. Building in your plans for 2024 will be super helpful in starting off the year strong and giving you more space in your calendar this time next year.

Sessions will cover

  • creating your promotional calendar for 2024.
  • reviewing your systems and getting organized.
  • saving time for your entire team with a knowledge base.
  • setting action items for Q1.

You'll walk away feeling confident in your overall 2024 goals and have a detailed action plan for Q1 execution.

What happens if I can't attend all or part of the workshop live?

We have you covered. All the sessions will be recorded and will be available for you to rewatch at your convenience for the next year.

Where is the workshop held?

These are currently virtual and will be held via Zoom.

What if we want a private workshop for our team and/or a group of organizations in our network?

We would love to host a workshop just for you and your teams. Reach out to Sami at sami@thefirstclick.net for pricing and availability.

What if I change my mind and can't attend a future event I've registered for?

Workshop replays are available to you even if you can't attend live. However, we will offer a full refund if you cancel within 45 days of a workshop. Refund will equal the value of the workshop minus the discount if the cancellation means you don't earn the 15% multi-event discount.
