Online Fundraising Essentials Toolkit

Below you'll find four different guides. Each one will be impactful at different stages of your organization. Start with the Website (re)Design workbook to audit your website. Then move on to the Donation Page Checklist to ensure it's optimized for conversions. Then get the welcome sequence template to follow up with those donors immediately and impactfully. Once that's done, it's time to start creating regular and consistent content.

Welcome Sequence Templates

Welcome Sequence for Recurring Donors Template

We've created templates for a 3-email welcome secquence when people have donated. This should be set up in your email service provider or CRM and automated. Once someone gives they'll automatically receive these emails to provide value and futher cement the reasons why they gave.

You'll want to customize these based off of your organizations processes. If your CRM automatically sends out a tax receipt then adjust the information in the first email as nececessary. We recommend sending out the first email immediately, the 2nd one after 3-5 days and the third 5-7 days after that.

If your non-profit incorporates thank you calls and handwritten notes (which we love) then adjust the timelines to accomodate that.
